"EQUINOX" At Brookhollow Business Park
|
I don’t build these pieces myself. I make maquettes and the full-size piece is constructed when the sculpture is commissioned.
Public sculpture is similar to architecture. It is a group effort.
My job is to propose, to design, and then to see the project thru.

"Equinox" In progress at Chiarini Marble.
|
The people at Chiarini Marble and Stone are amazing stone fabricators. It was my pleasure to work with them.
Special thanks to Richard and George Chiarini.
Special thanks to David Ball for seeing the potential in the maquette and going ahead with the project.
And Ray Heart and his crew for working with the city, pulling permits, casting the base, And final assembly.
|
And very special thanks to Don Cribb not only for his work on this piece, but for his continuing faith in my work and the work of so many other artists. Without him this piece, truly, would not have been built.
